“Pauchi” is a beautiful ornament of women in Uttarakhand. A traditional bracelet of Uttarakhand symbolizing married women. Mainly in Uttarakhand gold jewellery are preferred. Pauchi is made in 20 to 50 grams of gold according to the customer budget. The pattern of the pauchi is also usually the same. Low-weight Pauchies contain small-sized gold grains and high-weight Pauchies contain large grains. The design engraved in these charities varies. It is very expensive for a middle-class family.
